Saved $17.54 at Rite Aid

One thing I dislike about being on allergy medicine is that with Zyrtec-D I have to go every 10-12 days.  Now that you do not need a prescription for it they only sell it in two sizes.  The most you can get is a 12 day supply.  So, it was that time that I had to buy another box.  I checked to see who had it on sale this week.  Rite Aid has the 24 count box on sale for $18..99.  I had a $5.00 off Zyrtec coupon and $5.00 in Up Rewards from a previous purchase.  I chose to use them both even though I did not receive any Up rewards for the Zyrtec.  While there I also picked up a .75 oz box of Super Poligrip.  Nobody in my house uses or needs Super Poligrip, but a few weeks ago in the coupon inserts there was a free .75 oz box of Super Poligrip up to 2.60.  Finally I found a store that had it in stock.

Let me show you the math before sales and coupons:
$22.99 Zyrtec-D Full Price
$  2.49 Super Poligrip
$25.48  Total Before Tax

Now to show you the Savings Math:

 18.99 Zyrtec-D
   2.49 Super Poligrip
 21.48  Total Before Tax and Coupons
-  5.00 Zyrtec Coupon
-  5.00 Up Reward
-  2.49 Price of Super Poligrip
8.99 Total Before Tax

Yes, it would have made more sense to use my Up rewards to get more Up rewards, but I am very happy only paying $9.56 out of pocket for the items pictured below.
