E-mails

What does e-mails have to do with couponing?  Quite a bit actually.  Since you can subscribe to various websites, sign up for various things, get coupons e-mailed to you, your e-mail might be flooded with possible ways to save.  However, mixed in between all the savings e-mails and newsletters might be your actual person e-mails.  Something that is time sensitive could get passed over since you quickly skim who your e-mails are from.  If you see things like Coupon Cabin, Groupon, Frugal Girls, Credit Card Statement, Coupons.com, Couponmom and Hip2Save as all new e-mails when you log in more than likely that credit card statement is going to get overlooked for a bit.  However, if you separate it out and have the credit card statement go to one e-mail address and all others I listed go to a different e-mail address you might just be making life much simpler for yourself.  I have to admit I have yet to start a "savings" e-mail for myself, but every so often I think about it.  Maybe today is the day that I do it!

  1. Hi! I finally checked out your site tonight! Good advice and looks like you are having fun writing about it. Good advice, Zak, about not giving up. If you enjoy it and you learn from it, then keep blogging, no matter who else is or isn't reading it! Thanks for all the great advice! :)
