The Plus About Giving Your Phone Number or E-mail Address

How many times have you been in a store when they asked you for your phone number or e-mail address? I can say for myself certain stores ask me every time I purchase something from the store. Sometimes I give it to them, others I don't.

One time I asked what the point of this was. The reason I got was interesting. It is to get exclusive offers and coupons e-mailed or sent to you. I tend to find this to be true. Especially when I received these in the mail yesterday from Bath and Body Works yesterday.

I will definitely use the FREE item coupon.  I try to use these every time I get them.  I head in get my free item.  I might browse around to see what else they have, but I normally I stick to my plan and just get what is FREE.  

I do the same with Victoria Secrets.  Every so often I get FREE underwear coupons.  The majority of the time they do not require an additional purchase. I head in get my free underwear, sometimes give them my e-mail address and leave.  

My thinking is that by supplying them in the first place with e-mail address or phone number is how I started receiving these coupons.  However, it may not be.  I did place an order that got sent to my house at both places.  

Whatever the reasoning I do enjoy getting my mail and seeing coupons like the above just waiting for me.
