How do you save when life is so busy???
How do you save when life has you so busy? I will let you know the answer to that one when I figure it out.
Haha, no really my life the past week has been very busy. You would not know that from the blog posts, but I have been finding the deals for you'll and not doing them myself. The last deal I did was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch deal last Sunday at Shop Rite.
I did take my binder out for about a half hour last night just to clean it out. It's probably the first time in a week or two that I actually took my binder out to add coupons to it or go through the ones that are in there.
I now understand when people say I don't have time to coupon. I get it. Until this past week I didn't understand how someone might not have 5 minutes to spare. Wow was it eye opening.
My suggestion to you and something I myself am trying to do is schedule out your day. I try and get my blog posts done in the morning, however nowhere in my "schedule" do I have couponing or anything coupon related. Something I might need to adjust.
So how do you save when life is so busy? If you are really in a pinch, buy the items that are on sale instead of full price.
Second suggestion is try to schedule out your day for one week and see how that goes, see what you have more time for, what you spend most of your time on, when you might be able to spend five or ten minutes a day to get your shopping list together either by looking at the ad yourself or using the different stores deals postings I do.
As I get a better handle on this I will let you know what worked for me.

There is one smart source and one red plum insert this week.
If you have a Shop Rite near you starting Sunday (8/24) they will have Lipton Ice Tea Mix on sale for $2.99. In the 8/24 Red Plum insert there is a $1 off 1 Lipton Ice Tea making the Ice Tea Mix only $1.99.
Not a bad reason to pick up this weeks newspaper to get the coupons inside.

Rainchecks
You go to the store with your list in hand only to find that others had the same list in mind and purchased all the store had on it's shelf. Don't get too discouraged. Head to the customer service desk and ask for a rain check. Some stores don't offer rain checks. Some items are excluded from rain checks as well. However there is a positive to getting a raincheck, you can still use a coupon on rain-checked items assuming the coupons have not expired.

I have been asked to keep my eye out for great deals on baby wipes and diapers. Since it has been a while since I have purchased diapers I'm going to post whatever diaper and wipe deals I find. You'll can tell me what deals are great and I will be on the lookout for more like those. Hopefully I can help you all save some money on the necessities for the little ones.
So here is what I found today at Toys R Us.
They have all Huggies Wipes (168 - 208 ct.) packs on sale 2 for $10 until 8/28/14. In order to get the sale price you must buy 2 packages. The regular price of the wipes that are on sale is $7.39 a package.
By purchasing the wipes during the sale you are saving $4.78 or a different way to look at it is you are saving 32%.
The Huggies Wipes were not the only ones on sale. All Babies "R" Us Wipes (64-72 ct) are on sale 4 for $8 until 8/25/14. You must purchase 4 packages of 64-72 ct "R" Us Wipes in order to get the 4 for $8 price. The regular price for the 64-72 ct "R" Us packages is $2.49.
If you were to purchase the "R" Us wipes you are saving $1.96 or a different way to look at it is you are saving 20%.
For some items I find that the best way to see if something really is a good deal is figuring out the price per item. In this case price per wipe for 416 Huggies wipes it would cost .024 per wipe. For 288 Babies "R" Us wipes it would cost .277 per wipe.
Looking at it this way the Huggies wipes are definitely a better deal.
Now onto the diapers.
They have the mega packs of Pampers on Clearance for $15.98. These are originally priced at $18.99. The two pictures I took were of the Swaddlers 56 ct and size 4 Baby Dry 48 ct. I did not take note of the other counts. Sorry.
Looking at it to me this isn't a great deal, but it is helping you save some. I thought I remembered seeing a couple printable coupons for Pampers so I checked. Eureka I was right. You can print the following Pampers coupons:
These same sales might be going on at Babies R Us as well. I have not verified the prices there.
Remember to take with you the coupons you just printed, hand the corresponding coupons for the items you are purchasing to the cashier to save.
