The last thing you might think about when you are pregnant is how expensive it is to raise your child. You have the cost of clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, etc.
It feels like you need a never ending supply of diapers and wipes. Well the cost of diapers alone can definitely try to break your bank. When I had one in diapers many ions ago I found the cheapest solution for me was to buy the formula, wipes and diapers all at a wholesale club. Since my son could only wear a certain brand of diapers I couldn't always catch the sales.
Now stores seem to offer some good sales on wipes and diapers. I have seen deals at Shop Rite and Stop and Shop in the past where you can get wipes for .50 or less. I don't know of any current sales like this, but I will be sure to let you all know if one cames around.
Diapers seem to also be on some sort of sale every week. The question is how good is the sale. Or do you not care because you really need them? Do you use a certain brand or buy whatever is the cheapest?
I randomly picked up 6 ads from this past Sunday's paper. Big Lots, CVS, Five Below, Rite Aid, Target and Walgreen's.
Big Lots and Five Below had no baby care products listed in their ads. However the rest all had the following listed on sale until Saturday 8/16.
CVS
Walgreen's
It would be great if you could save even more on top of the sales. The P & G inserts seem to always have coupons in them.
You might also want to periodically check here to see what coupons are available to print. (Click on the word here for the current baby coupons).
No matter what you spend on your child, the amount of joy the child brings to your life is priceless!
