I try not just to bring you savings on groceries, but on anything you do. Today let's look at going to the movies.
There are a few ways you can enjoy the new releases in the theaters without it completely breaking your bank.
First way is catching a matinee. Each theaters matinee ending times varies so be sure to check your local theaters. You might be able to save just by going to a daytime or early evening movie.
Certain theaters run a set price for all movies that day. Say for example $5 Tuesday's. In that example you can see any movie at any time that day for just $5. Check your local theater(s) to see if they offer anything like this.
If you purchase a discount coupon book, like an Entertainment Book, they offer coupons to save on movies and the concession stand.
Are you a senior citizen, ask if they offer senior days or if you get a discount off your ticket because of your age.
Lastly, some theater chains offer "club" cards. Each time you head to the movies at that chain you hand the card to the cashier at the ticket counter and possibly the concession stand, they swipe it, you accumulate points that can be redeemed for money off or free items.
No matter how much you pay for your movie ticket, enjoy your time out with your friends or that special someone.
