Procter and Gamble Coupon Language and more

I'm sitting here cutting the coupons from this past weekends Procter and Gamble insert and noticed they changed their fine print yet again. It now reads "Limit One Coupon Per Purchase of products and quantities stated. Limit of 4 Like Coupons Per Household Per Day."

Wow....

So what exactly does this mean. If the coupon is off a single item and you are buying 4 of the same items you should be able to use all 4 coupons in the same transaction. There are some cashiers that read the 1 coupon per purchase as you can only use a max of one coupon in 1 transaction.

You might get challenged when using your coupons, but knowing your rights and equipping yourself is always good. Don't make a big stink if you are told you can't use multiple coupons or a coupon on a certain item. Although you are probably in your right to use the coupon they are also doing their job. Either ask the cashier if you can split your transaction into two then or take your receipt and coupon to the customer service desk and see if they can assist you better.

There are people who are using coupons fraudulently and the manufactures and stores are trying to protect themselves against it. This is a helpful website to educate yourself on the things you should not do with coupons http://www.couponinformationcenter.com/index.php
